Harry Houdini was universally known as an extraordinary magician and escape artist, he was also a genius when it came to promotion. Realizing the power of movies early on, he started his own motion picture company and released a string of feature films, in which he starred.

Renowned escape artist Harry Houdini harnesses his powers to amaze a captive audience in this classic silent feature film. Houdini stars as a man frozen in the arctic ice for 100 years who is revived and becomes involved with his reincarnated sweetheart. There is only one escape, however it's interesting to see Houdini in action. Houdini financed, produced directed and starred in The Man from Beyond himself and lost money on the deal.
