Here's what happens:
The magician takes a photo of a card with the spectator's phone, as a prediction. The card turns out to be the wrong card. With a wave of a hand, the wrong card magically changes into the selected card. Not only that, when the spectators open the photo, they realize that the card on their photo has also changed!
